    i haven't had any problems with promotions, but i had noticed that i had opportunities to nominate a character for more than one level 1 promotion. i assumed that if i took the second nomination the one i finished first would take precedence, but it's nice to know for sure. presumably once the a promotion is taken, the other one disappears?
