Barren lands

    If you talk to some of the people in Blackshire, I think it is, they will talk a bit about Paradise Valley. As I recall, they say that it was indeed once a nice place, but since the Night Of Shooting Stars, "The name has more or less become a joke, as it's now a desolate wasteland."

    Sweet Water is where the party is from. So it too was apparently a nice place to live. The introductory video that plays when you first load MM6 gives a bit of the background story, and how they escaped with the skin of their teeth on that fateful Night.

    I've often wondered about that tower at the edge of the ruined Town Of Sweetwater...

    Anyway, my most favorite piece of MM6 is the "Sunlit Snow Journey" (as shown by the fact that I arranged it and recorded the arrangement that Bones posted earlier). Flying over Frozen Highlands or Kriegspire with this delicate piece of music is a real treat. Suddenly I can forget about the blocky low-polygon graphics, low resolution textures, abysmal drawing distance etc., and only the calmness of flying over a quite snowscape remains... The music takes it onto a whole new level.
