Hermits Isle is also quite barren; at least Paradise Valley still has people living in Edenbrook. Hermits Isle doesn't even have that, unless you count the Supreme Temple Of Baa. If you talk to some of the people in Blackshire, I think it is, they will talk a bit about Paradise Valley. As I recall, they say that it was indeed once a nice place, but since the Night Of Shooting Stars, "The name has more or less become a joke, as it's now a desolate wasteland." Sweet Water is where the party is from. So it too was apparently a nice place to live. The introductory video that plays when you first load MM6 gives a bit of the background story, and how they escaped with the skin of their teeth on that fateful Night. I've often wondered about that tower at the edge of the ruined Town Of Sweetwater... |
