Brian writes: Taleshire is just an NPC now--I can have him join my party, but not promote anyone. (He never promoted anyone, as I had no necromancer with me when I did the Book of Khel quest). Lathean continues to say I have the Book (which literally I don't) but lack lich jars (which I have).
