I am currently playing a KDCK party and doing quite well. Just finished saving Stone City and am now ready to embark on the final series of quests, i.e. Kill the Dragon "Jester's Folly" and grab the control cube while not losing any of my six RPC friends . . darn I hate that quest but it is main line and has to be done.So far I have done all quests (even the Arconmage Tournement and the Obelisk quests) and have dual-classed my Priest of the Light over to Hero. Been to Eofol and have a portal set at the well there but haven't used it much yet.
You may wonder how I can set beacons without a GM Water caster. Well, I used Versenwald's skill editor to alter the skill table for my Druid. I gave her GM in all Elemental magics, but removed her self magic skills, Basically she has become a sorcereress that can use a mace and a shield but cannot learn light magic.
