I tried a druid in my first full game (vanilla version) because I wanted to make black potions.

I found that, in a light side party at least, the druid was a near-total waste of space. I found quite a few black potions in chests and in the shops, and the druid's inability to GM anything other than alchemy and meditation was a severe drawback. She was an utterly inadequate fighter, considerably less effective as a spellcaster compared to the cleric and the sorcerer, and a skill point hog for all the magic skills. As I say, I think the best parties are APCS for the Light Path, and ACSS for the Dark. Purely a personal opinion of course, Stålhand! *evil grin*
