Blasters. Ugh. There are blasters in this game. And they're ridiculously effective, especially when all the characters can become GM with them, and the wait between shots is almost nothing. It turns the game into essentially an FPS, ruining my entire experience.So I tried saying "Well I just won't use blasters next time I play. I just won't.", and I come to the problem of "Well, I can still use bows, right?", and then the logical progression is "Well the whole point of bows is to kill things from a distance, which is a heck of a lot safer than getting up close, no matter how much stronger a sword is than a bow, and if that's true then why -not- use blasters? They're essentially superbows!"
So now everytime I load up the game and get to the character creation screen, I freeze. Not my game: me. I'm stuck. I don't know what to do.
Anyone else have this problem? Any known solutions?
