HELP! The game dies when I try to loot (some) monsters. 10/17/2004, 21:44:21

I was playing along as usual and suddenly when I was trying to loot a harpy in the hall of the pit the game just dissapeared! The music kept on playing though. I've tried the really basic stuff, like rebooting the computer but that doesn't help. Any suggestions?
