Sometimes it will let me click maybe five times before I get the 'refreshing' message. Once it let me put in 500,000 gold (all I wanted to spare at that time) and never did stop giving me experience. Other times its varying numbers that seem unpredictable. I put in around 100,000 the last time before it stopped. I can't figure out what the rules are.
