I received MM3 for my birthday in 1993, or perhaps for x-mas in 1992; all I remember for sure is that I was in 7th grade. I have actively worked to block out every other memory from that accursed period of my life.Also, I too was turned on to the MMs by a pirated copy of MM1. I liked it so much that I soon acquired a legitimate copy of MM2 by throwing a tantrum at a computer store my dad had brought me to. Dad bought the game because I was, at the time, a 11-point Master of Conniptions. (I've fallen out of practice and now am merely an Expert.)
The date on my current MM3.exe is 11/2/1995, 11:42 AM. There is an MM3.com file dated 5/18/1992, however.
You don't need to prove the map to me. I believe you. 
You obviously did the work for the MM1 map which must have been way more challenging, anyway. BTW are all those yellow squares in the NE desert totally inaccessible?!?
