hitting "i" and "m" keys (plus others I suspect) + scholar promo 06/30/2009, 10:20:59

Nick writes: Hello everyone. New here and first post. Firstly let me say it is good to find a forum for this game which I am enjoying albeit late! I have two questions. 1) When I am playing and hit the i or m key it takes nearly 10 seconds to display the map or inventory? Anyone know why? I have just put in new graphics board (GEFORCE 8400GS) as last one died. 2) I have a party of 3 magic orientated people. I have one druid, one lich but the other is still an initiate and I cannot promote her to a scholar. Any way around this? Many thanks for any help Nick
