I really enjoy the game but there are some things I don't like in it and I hope I won't ever see them in a Might and Magic game. First is the size of the territory in the game. If the territory of Oblivion would have been some 5 times smaller in size, it would be one of the greatest games of all times. Yes, the forest is really beatiful, so is fauna, the amazing landscapes, but overally the game feels simply empty. There's so much empty space that's not filled and you just keep walking through it. The towns - they are empty, in any of the cities there are so few NPCs wandering around. The dungeons - some of them are really cool but most of them are boring (again, weak improvement from Morrowind). If I counted correctly, there are only 3 types of dungeons - Aelyd (sp?) ruins, forts and caves. That's it. Most of the dungeons of the same type are so similar and at the same time - boring so that you can't even compare them with the variety of dungeons the MM games had. And where did go the underwater life? No underwater towns, super secret caverns? Sharks? Why nobody can't create a magical town that lies on the clouds in the sky? Oh come on! I could continue this list for a long time but I won't. Oblivion is a really great game but very far from perfect.
