>Divine Intervention works at any time. It looks like godmode in Doom II. A very well known bug.Yes, and this cannot be fixed because we need the source code.
>The map in Thronheim is completely bugged and does not show your real direction and position.
I think that the source code is needed because the map is correct, just the compas doesn't show the right direction.
>Cursed people cast spells as they usually do while healthy. For instance, a Priest can heal normally despite the fact it sounds like a "buzz" of a failed spell, and the text box tells that the spell failed, but It still works. I don't remember of seeing this happen to other people.
I never tested this out, since I never got cursed.
>Armsmaster skill is completely bugged, the expert does not give any damage bonus as said on the description. It seems they exchanged accidentally with the master ranking.
No just the description between Expert and Master is swapped. Should be correct in 1.3 unless Bones forgot it.
>The grandmaster in Learning gives more experience than it should do, probably due to an algorithm mistake. Pretty primitive error... maybe an amateur programmer would not miss it.
No bug, this is how it should work. Many think this is cheating but the ex-online manual did stipulate exactly what the skill does.
>Other skills seem to be bugged and the gameplay suffer severely. For instance, my Paladin got the Grandmaster at Cudgel, thanks God... but wait, the damage is NOT doubled... only the attack bonus. It makes the Paladin become just an ordinary melee fighter, a fly compared to an Assassin with his multiple hits, for instance. He can master blade as well, but who will give me back my skill points?
The paladin has many other flaws, like being a multi-class (might and magic). It is the weakest class in the game anyway.
>Some weirdness are native and expected by the programmers, but make the game unbalanced. The Assassin is a killing machine and a useful character for almost everything, except casting spells. Even at bartering he can be a master, and he may be a good defensive player since he can master armor (strangely) and wear heavier armors. He can grandmaster blade and hits too often dealing hundreds of damage every turn, and has a quick recovery rate. Who the hell needs a weak healing spell caster (Paladin) when we have such a killing machine??? The Mage is another unhappy class. It is absolutely WORSE than the Lich, period. A good spell caster of course, but the Lich is as good as it in Elemental magic and can grandmaster in Dark! If you have a Priest and a Lich, the Mage is absolutely useless in every aspect.
True, assassin is the best might class of the game. Don't even try to cast spells with him, useless, he is an Assassin, a pure might class and (jack-of-all-trade). And a very good one at high level. He don't hit too often, that is normal. He uses 2 daggers which are already fast recovering and gets extra recover bonus when boosting him. In combo with armsmaster he becomes a killing machine. The game engine should have implemented critical hits but instead it was easier to make him hit more often.
Paladin = forget it.
Lich is the equiavlent of the Assassin for Magic.
And well, you didn't use your Mage at its full power. It is a combo between Priest and Lich, so you can have both in one, but loses a bit in power (not much actually). Mage is a key class for speed games and insane scores.
>I'd like to know if there is any way to fix some of the bugs listed above, and if all of them happens with everybory or if it's just me. I have the latest 1.3a patch installed, but I'm afraid very little can be done since the source code is not open.
Most cannot be fixed because we need the source code. Some can. Maybe Bones can respond to this.
