Spirit Magic controls the chance for successful enchantment, but Elemental Magic controls how well Spirit Magic controls the chance for success. :/

    In other words:

Success % = (Skill in Spirit)*(5 if Normal in Elemental)
Success % = (Skill in Spirit)*(10 if Expert in Elemental)
Success % = (Skill in Spirit)*(10 if Master in Elemental)
Success % = (Skill in Spirit)*(20 if GM in Elemental)

I just tested this with my Healer, and it is indeed how things work. With her Spirit Magic skill at 8, when I promoted her to Expert in Elemental Magic her chance of success rose to 80% again as the table above says it should.

Thank you for the explanation, Bones, I doubt that I would ever have figured this out on my own because I had no intention of promoting my healer to Expert in Elemental Magic any time soon, if at all.

Are there any other spells that depend on both schools of magic for their power? Is Enchant Item the only one?

    Thanks again,

    Camden
