Hi, all! Sorry I didn't even send out a Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa/Winter solstice (I can never remember whether it's Beltaine, Samhaine, or what) greeting and a keg. So here's a keg of my best for Mardi Gras/Carnival, which occurs next Tuesday. For those of you who have never quaffed Elf Ale, my brews are unlike anything you've ever experienced. First of all, it tastes like whatever you like. I personally put in a lot of Cascade hops from Washington State, and use malt usually reserved for single-malt Scotch whisky. Since a lot of people dislike either or both of these additives, they will only be tasted by those who prefer them. You can drink as much of my ales as you like, and you will only get happy, not drunk. No hangovers, ever. If you dislike alcohol (as some do,) Elf Ale will not contain any, but will instead taste like lemonade, tea, soda pop, or whatever is your preference. Elf Ale also contains no calories, so will never put on unwanted pounds. So here then, is a large keg of Mardi Gras Malt, a darker, maltier brew than I usually make. Drink up and enjoy! (And Bones, you get to taste it first.)Love to all,
Elf
P. S. Elf Ale will contain a small amount of sugar for those diabetics who are experiencing insulin shock.
