I haven't had this exact problem but I think your cd drive is having problems reading the disk. Years ago i took a drive apart to see what was wrong. There was a rubber disk that I think pressed down on the cd to grip it. Mine had become stiff and wouldn't grip the disk. I cleaned the cds and applied strips of scotch tape around the center hole to give a little more traction and to build the disk up. It worked well enough to copy the disks to my hard drive. My Wiz 8 disks still have the tape on them. Hope this helps. |
