Is it possible to beat MM6 in 4 days game time?

    I think it is not possible, because to beat the game, you have to go to these places, which cannot be gotten to without a 1 day travel time:

    - Mire of Damned - for memory crystal
    - Eel Infested Water - for memory crystal
    - Kriegspire - for several required quests
    - Hermit's Isle - for memory crystal (the portal to Free Haven Sewers require activation from Hermit isle side)
    - Sweet Water - for final quest

    Since you must go to these places, the earliest you can win is January 6 (Jan 1 + 5 days), so it would seem like finishing on Jan 5 is impossible.

    Or am I missing something?

    How on earth Rib (and others) ever got through some of those areas without training is beyond me.........

    hey guys mm6 is my favorite game even after all these years. i dont play it anymore but i made countless speedruns or "hard difficulty" games like solo peasant etc

    in reality, you just have to finish the game in one day to succeed and it's not possible to reduce the 5 travelling days. it's not that hard once you know everything you have to do and after failing a lot most of the game can be done without fighting and the turn based mode allows you to kill big monsters anyway with a little patience. control space and time and you're good to go

If one could safely use this feature to set a beacon or escape to collect memory crystal then 1 day boat ride to Eel Infested waters could have been eliminated reducing time to 4 days. Since I came to really know game I've never been able to duplicate this "feature."

Lloyd's Beacon to Alamos

That's what I remember. Probably on win95 and win98 machines.

I wouldn't know, I never went into speed games. Completeness was my bag.
