Shooting at a large target

When you are shooting at a large target like a Titan, does it really matter where do you hit it? I am fighting some Titans at point-blank range and it seem aiming at the upper body result in higher damage. It could be just luck.

I find that aiming at the centre of mass works pretty well

But considering that Supreme Titans can kill a character instantly, I usually tackle them from a distance, flying and using Meteor Shower, so that I have time to dodge.

I was using the flying-up-and-down trick.

And it was quite successful. Only two or three of my characters were killed when I kill about 30~40 Titans.

You might be letting them get a bit too close

If your party stays at medium to long range, you have time to see the ranged attack coming and get out of the way

But at point-blank range, the sharpmetal spell is very effective.

I don't think it matters at all.

MM6 is a so called 2.5-D game (3-D environment populated with upright infinitely thin rectangles). I believe that the algorithm is simple: if the arrow hits the monster's rectangle, you get an attack roll and if you roll a hit, you roll for damage. So you can hit and inflict damage even if it would be "graphically" a miss.

(Just my thought. I have no proof for it.)

It sounds reasonable.
