The Passing of a Legend

    With great sadness I must announce that John Brand, AKA Zed, passed away at 10.32 AM (Philippine time) today. He is survived by his wife Joan, son Rhon, and daughter April.

    We shall all miss Zed; his knowledge, wit, and dry humor have 'flavored' this Tavern for several years.

    I can only take some solice from the fact that, as long as gamers play the MM7 and TCC mods, Zed True Shot and Zedicus Z'ul the Fifth shall remain in the memories of Might and Magic fans worldwide.

    Rest well, Old Friend.

    In the short time I've known him, I found Zedd a very easy person to get on with. He's not an easy person to forget and I've always told him he will be a character in my mod so hopefully I won't ever give up on that. I intend to make it a tribute to him.

    I am his daughter who is also a might and magic fan, he gave me a complete set of MM games for my 21st birthday. though i know how much he wanted to help me with personal matters which he cant due to some personal reasons, we tried to forget when were together and just bond through playing games. i remember one time when i came to visit him before he was very happy acting like a kid when he told me the news that he will be a character on one of the MM games. that was cute.. he boast everytime he have a new game and i was always like 'dad, can i borrow ' and he was like 'NO!!!' but eventually he will let me use it.. hehe .. and also he is fond of mimicing RFS81 lol

    we will all miss him thats for sure. he's a great son, friend, dad.. hes a wonderful person..
