MM9 improvement project

It's no secret MM9 was a half-baked product when it came out. More like quarter-baked actually. The official patch and Bones' patch address some (but not all) of the bugs, and more work in that direction is needed still.

I want to address another issue however -- the possibility of improvement the non-bugged, working, but unfinished aspects of the game.

Just to give you an idea: there are items, including quest items, that are present inside the game's resources but are not used. There are pictures that could be used but are not. There are voices that could be heard but aren't. There are dozens and dozens of NPCs that still complain of their problems long after your brave and heroic actions have already solved them. Last but not least, there are incredibly idiotic spelling and grammar errors scattered everywhere. All of this could be fixed.

In my game, I have fixed some of the these things, and plan to fix more (though time is limited). Some of the things already done:

    * Many quest items are removed from your inventory after the quest is finished (Verhoffin's book, assassination letter, fake Writs of Fate, etc., etc.)

    * Tamur Leng joins you with his own fake Writ

    * Nutty Nurtigan's cage is unlocked after you heal him

    * Brongnoker artifact comes with its own distinct picture, separate from the plain helm

    * All promotion quest are available now, whether you're actually promoted or not

    * Several silent NPCs got their lost voices! (The Dook, the cook's brother, ...)

    * Harris Willington, who hired an assassin to kill Sven Forkbeard, is now removed from the shop ('goes to prison') after you inform Sven of his treachery.

    * Some NPCs now acknowledge your actions! Ex.: A guy in Sturmford by the name of Tynan A'Lyrae used to say: "Ludwig Van is my favorite writer! I think it's tragic that he lost his manuscript. If only someone would go find it for him!". ALWAYS.

Now he says that only before you take that quest. After you take the quest, but before you complete it, he says now: "Rumor has it you are trying to find Ludwig Van's manuscript. I wish you luck!"

And after you complete the quest, he says now: "Ludwig Van told us of how you found his manuscript and returned it to him. On behalf of all literate Sturmfordians I thank you for your noble act!"

    * Eradicated lots and lots of annoying misspellings ('rivits' and 'rivited' in place of rivets and riveted, 'exorborant' in place of exorbitant, and many others just as bad, plus grammar errors such as it's instead of its).

I would certainly appreciate suggestions on further improvements as well as your creative input on NPC dialogue -- because, you see, while some of the things just need tweaking the scripts and data files, using resources already present in the game but unused for some reason, fixing NPCs on the other hand requires writing new dialogue lines from scratch.
