Christy writes: if the 1.2 patch installed correctly. The original unpatched version had no intro music. If you always had intro music, you never needed the 1.2 patch in the first place, TTBOMK. If you install TELP's 1.3 patch, it will display a notation on the intro screen. Re: promotions. If you are getting the line "Thomas needs to be promoted to Expert," then click on that line (as if it were a link), and if you have the required gold to pay for the promotion, he'll get promoted. It isn't an automatic thing that happens whenever you accost the teacher.
