He was a well-known and prolific rpg fan, and a really nice guy with it, from all reports. He died unexpectedly in about 2000, not all that long after Redneck set up his MM6 site and this Tavern. There were reports that he committed suicide. I don't know who perpetrated this ugly rumour, but it is simply not true; IIRC he died of a heart attack.I never knew him either, his time and mine in the wider rpg worlds overlapped for only about 18 months or so. There was a very good memorial to him, but it was taken down years ago and sadly, no-one I know ever took a copy of it.
