Vamp's holding quest items and gems (she just likes pretty shiny things )

Cleric's holding more quest items and scrolls

Nec's holding Alchemy stuff, taking up most of his inv.

Dragon's holding bounties and ores and such

and DarkE's holding stuff to be sold

And after I lost the Sword of Whistlebone along with a lot of other stuff, trusting in the Merchant House chests, I just keep it all. Or, that is, I did....Now I just store with the guys at the Adv. Inn - they never respawn or reboot or anything.
