Just finished a low-kill game

M&M VII is not possible to do with a no-kill or one-kill game because required quests have the party killing things, beginning with the goblins and rats in Castle Harmondale, and ending with Xenofex.

    Here are my notes:

I started with a Ranger, Thief, Cleric, and Sorceror. Didn't do the Knight, because both of his promotions involve killing. I figured a Dark Path group wouldn't try to keep from killing, so went Light Path for this game. I did not do any quests that required me to kill anything if it wasn't a required quest. I finished the game at level 57.

I had to kill everything in Castle Harmondale (required quest)
I killed two gogs in the Breeding Zone because there was no other way to get around them (they were blocking my path and wouldn't follow me far enough to unblock the path).
    and I killed Xenofex.

That's all. I found out a couple of interesting things:

    1. For the Wine Cellar quest, all you need to do is go into the wine cellar and maybe open the secret bookcase (I didn't test it without opening the bookcase). You do not need to kill anything inside in order to complete the quest.

    2. You don't need to kill Tolberti if you can steal the control cube from him. Even though your quest log says you have to kill him you don't.

I also noticed that Archibald's quest to free Roland doesn't get written into the quest log. Is this normal or was my game wonky?
