Sound is difficult. These are now old games, and the modern hardware and software is sometimes not well adapted to the way the music in them was implemented. You really need somebody who knows more about computer ops systems than I do. You could try searching the Taverns for Sound. For instance, IIRC it has been suggested that you could try plugging some headphones into the output socket on your CD-Rom drive.
