about Clanker attempting to recreate some of the pre-Silence weapons (I assume blasters and such). It (Clankers Lab) is also central to the Dark Side main line quest - one quest is to turn off the force field generator protecting the lab as I recall.It would seem to me that Clanker lived sometime after the Silence, but maybe not too long after, perhaps in 100 A.S. or so when memories of the pre-Silence days had not completely faded into legend yet.
Just like everyone else though, it's just a guess.
