The only really impressive things that come with Grandmastery are the improved Regeneration and Protection from Magic, Power Cure and Lloyd's Beacon. (Top spells in Mind, Spirit, Earth, Fire and Air magic aren't THAT great, IMHO.) If you already have one character for these, you don't really need to double up on them. And since I try to avoid (ab)using the Lloyd's Beacon, I could just as well get along without that Sorcerer if I wanted to.A druid can concentrate on pure blasting - just pick a magic school and dump all your points there. DO NOT do the mistake of raising all your magic schools at once - your damage will be pathetic. For example, by picking Fire and Earth magic only, you'll get two excellent area damage spells (Fire Ball and Rock Blast) and there's no monster that is immune to both of them. (Apart from Medusas, of course.)
Lastly, since Druids get GM Meditation, they can wipe floor with your average-Joe sorcerer any day of the week. GM Alchemy isn't shabby either.
