I was happily selling them whenever I got some, because they took valuable space in my inventory, and still was able to get my reputation on 1000 probably ... until I got healing at the Curator, and then it dropped to something like -700 ...
I see that you hate killing civilians as much as do I. I remember that I didn't kill any peasants in the Temple of the Snake, despite the fact they were blocking my way all the time. I even put down my bows of Carnage and withdrawn from giving medusas firebally greetings.
And as for the Superior Temple of Baa, I loaded its map in the map viewer utility and I found it's far more complex that I know about. I think that I went in, ran for the Crystal and teleported away with it, never to return... What a shame! In my next game I must do it your way ... explore everything explorable and do everything doable.
