Unusual result from "Enchant Item" spell 02/11/2010, 07:37:18

Peter2 writes: I just enchanted some Imperial Leather armour, and got Imperial Leather of Cold Resistance +24. That is almost double the best resistance I have got in the past from the Enchant Item spell - usually I don't get anything better than +14. I am still using the same unpatched MM6 v1.0 game I have always played, so why this should have happened baffles me.
