I would not assume that computer games of any sort form a realistic representation of either the armies or the weapons used in real life.

    The objective of a computer game in first and foremost to entertain, and all other factors are subordinated to that. The media are little better. Mark Twain is on record as saying "If you don't read the newspapers you are uninformed, if you do read the newspapers you are misinformed." And nothing much has changed. On the occasions when I have seen a "factual" TV programme where I happen to have more than passing knowledge of the subject, I have been appalled by the exaggerations, omissions, and bias shown. As I've said before, I have very little time for either the media or politicians. They may not always be liars, but both are expert in telling the truth in a manner calculated to deceive.
