Which I (and he) know is not in the list of supported cards. However, in the past when we've used a non-supported card, it does not cause a crash to desktop, just a weird experience with the display.And I have to say, after reading Elf's description of how the newer cards make it impossible to play anything but the newer games, I can't see installing one if it isn't strictly necessary.
He did say, however, that he intended to buy one - my (and his) question was whether it was worth it if the game didn't act right regardless.
