No one in town

    I'm doing Beet Hoven, and when I leave to re-enter town it places the party at the main entrance (no matter where I exit from). All the shop vendors and people in the tavern are in town, but no wandering people (trainers). Also, I can't leave the town. The dialog box to leave town or re-enter Beet does not show up. I've loaded a save in Beet and re-tried this probably 20 times. Happens every time. Any ideas? I have no spells to teleport.

I'm not absolutely certain, but this sounds like one of the problems that might be solved by deleting the minisaves.

    It sounds as though the corrupted area is Sturmford City, so this is what you do. Quit the game, open Windows Explorer, find the MM9 folder (it's probably in a folder named 3do), open the subfolder called Minisaves, and delete all files that begin with "sturmfordcity". Then open the game again, load your most recent save in Beet Hoven, and try re-entering the town again.

    Do you need further help to do that?
