weird resolution

    When I click to start it it does not open ful screen, only on abut a half screen. I have tried compatibility mode and non compatibility mode. I have tried with and without the 2.4 patch.

    It runs fine, I can just see my widows desk tp all around it. I have my desktop set at 600X800 resolution and at 16 and 32 bit color. Yet it never opens all the way like it should.

    Has anyone else run into this, does anyone have any ides how to fix it.

    Many thanks. I want to play it again but not when it wont open up to pull size.

My guess is that the game is sending commands that your drivers don't know how to handle, so your system is defaulting to your monitor's default resolution.

    I'm guessing that you've already tried adjusting the game's video setting in the launch screen. Have you tried connecting to an old CRT? Or perhaps and old video card?

    That's all I can suggest. I hope someone has some more appealing ideas.

I now run the games on an old Toshiba laptop . . .

F4 is part of original release. Sounds like your running Grayface's v2.4 patch. If you want to run game in window....

    WindowWidth=-1 (default) I use 1930
    WindowHeight=480 (default) I use 1175

    I run my 16:10 display in 1920x1200 res. You'll need to play w/ these numbers based on your res setting and size of window you want. 16:9 might look a little over stretched since game is 4:3.
