The MX2 400 is sufficiently advanced to play MM9, but when you feed it advanced drivers you are making it go though a lot of routines that it can't use. I and others had this same problem also. You can read one of these threads starting with message number 35234.You'll want to use drivers from an era which is no more than a year newer than your card. There are two obstacles you'll have. All of the old drivers are available at Nvidia's site, but they are very hard to find. Below is a link to version 41.09. The other issue is that you'll need to remove all traces of your current drivers. Doing a web search on "remove nvidia drivers" gives a lot of good hits.
