system crashed last month. I could not get it to install at all. The installer kept telling me it could not find a needed file (error 105). It did not specifiy what file was needed.However, I always keep backups of everything and I had a backup of all the MM9 original files which I loaded into my 3do\Might and Magic IX directory and it works fine by running the game directly from the MM9 exe file. Of course, it does not appear in the registry, but that is not needed to play the game.
I posted this in case anyone else gets that particular install error and has a backup to use.
