I received the Assassin promotion and went into the house in Drangheim. I killed all the guards but my Disarm skill wasn't high enough for the black chest so went off & did other things for a month or 2 of game time - including killing the guy for the second part of the promotion. Eventually I returned to the house & all the guards had respawned, killed them again and with Expert Disarm 10, opened the chest (and killed the house owner).However upon returning to the promotion giver, the scripting thinks I haven't started the quests yet: it asks if any Mercenaries are looking to be promoted to Assassins, says there are 2 tasks, but then doesn't list them & goes straight to "who wants to be promoted?". The game can't work out that I have already accepted the quests and completed them, and won't give me the completion option to become an Assassin. Deleting the Drangheim city minisaves doesn't help. Any tips or help?
