Thanks a lot for your post. I think this might be the real deal behind my problem. I tried to install the game on a different computer, on which I had played MM9 before, and which has a FAT32 system on it. The game ran without any problems. So the problem i guess must be with my own PC, which has NTFS.
Now this might sound a bit annoying, but could you please tell me how can I create a FAT32 partition on my HDD? I have only one partition C: for entire disk space.
