I just installed MM9 on my new computer, and while it installed fine, whenever I try to start a new game it lets me pick my guys, then goes to the loading screen, I hear the guy say hello, but the screen never leaves the loading message.I turned off sound effects and the game loaded fine. So I saved a game just past the intro speech, reloaded with sound effects enabled, and the same thing happened. But when I pressed up or down, I could hear my footsteps in the game, so the game was actually running but the screen never switched off the loading message.
Any idea how to fix this? My sound drivers are all updated. I'm not 100% sure exactly what sound card I'm using.
