I read about this *glitch* in a walkthru, though it wasn't confirmed by the author. I gave it a go and omg I spent two hours in real time getting gold, great armour, items to sell, skill books, stacks of potions and when I landed in Sturmford for the first time I had 4000 in gold. Sold enough stuff to put 10k in the bank and still had enough to buy 3 levels of training per each character.v 1.3
On the Isle of Ashes, after getting the turret key from Ysra, go to the door below the ruins. Kill off the skeletons. Go through the door and IGNORE THE BOOK - find and open the chest. back out the door and go up to the entrance of the ruins. Enter the ruins. Leave the ruins. go back down the cliff to the room with the chest. It will be full of new stuff. Repeat ad nauseam until you're bursting with goodies.
When you've had enough, click on the book to leave the isle.
