I have GF 5500. And when I install MM9 first time, it was so big problem, that I couldn't play!

I've read whole this forum, I analyzed what ppl said about it and what helps me...

    So:
    1. Installed on FAT - it is what Bones was talking about.
    2. Something what is in the oryginal MM9 readme.txt: Install the newest sound drivers (I had those windows XP shit with first instalation)
    3. This system volume control icon - I always threw it away from system bar, but it should be there...
    4. Mouse cursor... In the game there is some space between end of game window (in full screen) and end of the screen, where cursor is visible as system cyrsor (it is about 5-7 mm from top of the screen). I noticed that when I click ok in load or when entering new world I moved mous... And I saw that windows cursor very often. (BTW: If You click and there is an icon on desk You can open program that icon refering to!!!) So don't do this... when You click "ok" just let mouse to be still... Try to don't come up to edges of the screen...

In my case it works. Now I'm playing well, with only 3 crashes, but it was on begining second instalation. (tfu, tfu, tfu, touch wood )

Hm, that was all what I did to run it well.

Oh, And of coz graphic drivers. It was degraded to avoid those nasty, evil, annoying time delays between 3D view and 2D (inventory, quests, notes etc.). I've written about this few post below.

    Have a nice play!

    Greetz!
