Well, I think I've gotten the hang of it now. I've almost gotten all the Jarls to join me with the "default party" (I now have a Lich, a Priest, a Crusader aiming for Paladin and a Merc aiming for Assassin). It's been fun so far, but that GM Learning bug is just too good for me not to take advantage of :p
(Just returning the Sheep to that little girl gave my Lich 7 levels worth of XP more than the others)So... I'm trying to figure out a nice way to go for my next game. So far, I've got Lich, Lich and Druid, which leaves me with the last Initiate. He could be either a Mage, or a Priest and so far, I haven't found any significant difference between the two, except for the GM Learning, which would make the Mage almost infinitely better than the Priest.
It seems to me, there's nearly nothing that the Priest can do that the Mage can't do better. Am I perhaps overlooking a serious spell somewhere that would make the Priest stand out?
