This time of the year the sun (if we see it)is very low even at mid day here in Helsinki.
This morning it got sort of lightish at about 09.30..
It will be almost dark..by 15.00 ..unless the sun breaks through..If it does not... light come mainly from Christmas trees reflected in the snow. We put them outside in the gardens here..
Brightens up the place..and also dont have keep clearing up their dam needles that fall off to get stuck into carpets.If you travel north in Finland a couple of hundred kilometers....they dont see the sun from Nov until Febuary...it is called "kaamos"..

But it could have been taken at midnight in June...but...hopefully the snow would not be there then!
