If you need to change drives then type the drive letter followed by a colon and hit Enter. To get to the correct folder, type 'cd', a space, and the folder name in 'short filename format' -- such as 'progra~1\3do\mighta~1\data' for the default location of the files we want to look at. Press Enter.
Now type 'dir > list.txt' and Enter. The detailed file listing is now stored in a text file!
