"To each his own", meaning that each player will play the game differently, with different ideas about exploiting bugs, cheating, use of editors, and even using in-game features (an example of this is the fact that many players go by the "full party death = game over" rule, preferring to start a new game, rather then reload a save, even though saving and reloading is a built in feature). The main rule we follow as regards the tavern is, simply put, respect. Many people discuss how they play, and post bugs or cheats that they have found (and some stuff that turns out not to be a cheat at all). A lot of these things are common knowledge anyway. The important thing is just to understand that each player will play differently, and not to be disrespectful to another player because of how they choose to enjoy their game.
I guess what I'm saying is, go ahead and post what you've learned - some people will likely already know it, some will not want to know, and some will be pleased to learn a new trick. But that's the beauty of the tavern - it's up to us what we read and what we don't, and for those who would rather not know, well, no one's forcing them to read the post. So don't worry about it.
