A few of the maps can be edited because their unprocessed data was shipped with the English version. To do so you will need to download the eiting tools for 'No One Lives Forever' at:http://www.noonelivesforever.com/downloads/#tools
MM9 was made with the same engine so these tools work when configured properly. I'll leave that as a test for you. If you can't figure out how to set them up then you probably don't have any business messing around with them. OTOH, if you do get them working then feel free to discuss using them here.
