Patch ID and other questions. 03/20/2006, 05:18:16

Finlands Crazy Bear writes: I ws in the process of up grading one PC to ADSL and in doing so... dont ask how or what but...I seems to have done something... My tame IT expert has tried re-instaling IE 6.0 very slow connection..no graphics down loaded..and the reverted to and tried using my old dial up but...That PC just will not connrct to the internet.. He suspects that Win 98 has lost some vital ini file... He has two choices...re-install Win 98...or install XP.. He told me to save any vital stuff on to CROMs or floppies.. So first I find the TELP patch for MM9 (found it together with Bones txt doc)..then I go look for the official patch number 1.2..I have a folder for patches in it.. I find a patch..mm9_10~1.exe...what is that? Any other advice appreciated...
