He has earnt the respect of many of the team who worked for 3DO, and has through this respect made personal contact and even friendships, with some of the names one can read in "The Credits" listing...
We even used to have a few of them posting here.Some of those people are still in the industry..I assume.
One occsionaly comes back...i.e. not so long ago "T" was putting together a new CV and asked for some help from us with some screen shots of some of the dungeon he designed.
Hope he got the job.
IMHO ..JVC lost interest after MM 7..he was disappointed with the reviews,...he had not so much influnece in MM8 but you can see his touch in few places and as Bones says ..Zero contribution in MM9...
Why??
Did he just lose the desire to be involved in Fantasy?
Or..Did something in his real world pull him out of the world of magic and fanatasy??.
I suspect that the drive by his lords and master to .."Make a profit no mater about the quality of the product.. just get the game onto the shelves!"
Surely ..Had some effect...
But I also believe that he just lost the desire to dream and fantasize.
Shame..Hope I never do...
Now where is my Town Portal spell..I need to hop off to somewhere warm..someone point me at that guy who can end winter please. It is still minus 6 C in Helsinki.
