There's probably already been dozens of messages concerning this already, unfortunately I haven't the time to go through all the old posts. Anyway, my problem.

I recently received a copy of the above software package, mostly in the hope that it would fix some of the sound card issues I had with the older versions on Win XP. Little did I reckon with the awesome inteptitude of the 3do tech people. For some reason the M&M 6-8 are very slow to install in both win 98 and XP (I have both on my system, don't ask). I am finding it impossible to install on 98 and near impossible on XP. I've followed all the suggestions re: the tehnical notes to no avail. Even tried swapping the DVD drives for an old CD burner to no effect. I've altered auto-run and DMA settings, I've eliminated all possible resource guzzling programs, to no effect. I cannot even get the setup screen to appear. I'd be tearing my hair out if I didn't shave my head.
