In optional quests I accept very well the fact that I can lose the quest, since it's not part of the storyline and we can consider it roughly as a "bonus"... but I'm very surprised about the scholar quest, If I'm not wrong, promotion quests can not be failed for obvious reasons, please correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm almost sure that if this quest can be missed somehow, it's pretty much like a bug than an author's intemption. We all know, this game was released unfinished... but it is still good and has a great value due to its addicting formula.By the way, I replayed my old saved game and sold the beer... thanks all for the help!
