You could try swapping the original files back in. It wouldn't hurt and you can always swap them back. I feel confident that I wrote the new code properly, but if the 1.3 patch *is* the cause then I'd sure like to know about it. I'd like to know about it if it isn't caused by the patch so that I can fix it for our next one.In any event, before you make any changes, please answer a few questions. Does it happen when you enter 'Drangheim' or 'Drangheim City'? When was the last time you entered the affected level successfully and what have you done since then? Do you have a savegame made early enough to avoid the crash?
There might be more questions depending on the answer of these, but I'm sure we can get your game running again. Don't Panic!
